What if the rented equipment is damaged during use?

In the event of equipment damage, we kindly request that you notify us without delay. Please refrain from attempting any form of self-repair, as unauthorized interventions may void the manufacturer's warranty and risk causing further harm to the equipment.

A additional deposit of $200 is typically held prior to obtaining a formal repair quotation from our authorized service partners.

In cases where the repair or replacement timeline significantly delays the equipment’s availability for rental, an inconvenience fee may be applied. This fee is assessed on a case-by-case basis, taking into account the duration and operational impact of the downtime.

Upon completion of repairs, any unused portion of the deposit will be refunded.

Please note: if the damage is deemed irreparable or exceeds reasonable repair thresholds, the item will be sold to you at its manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP).

Following our preliminary assessment, you will receive a summary of the identified damage via Carousell or WhatsApp. The affected equipment will then be forwarded to a certified technician for comprehensive evaluation and repair. This process typically requires between one to four weeks, depending on the nature and severity of the damage.

Upon completion, we will issue a formal invoice detailing the repair costs and initiate payment arrangements. Please be advised that the responsible party is expected to settle the invoice promptly. Kindly note that we do not engage directly with insurance providers or facilitate third-party claim settlements.

What do you consider as damage?

Significant damage includes any major scratches or scuff marks on the glass elements, as well as impact-related or water-induced harm to the equipment’s body or internal mechanisms. In contrast, minor surface abrasions—such as light scuffing on the lens barrel, hood, or exterior casing—are classified as normal wear and tear and do not constitute damage.
