Is there a deposit?

A refundable security deposit by PayNow or Wise is required on collection, or you can opt for a $0 credit card-on-file authorisation.

When can I collect and return?

Collections run from 6:30pm to 8:50pm the day before your rental date (actual-day collections from 9:10am). Returns are between 9:10am and 11:30am the day after your rental ends. See our rental terms for late return charges.

Are longer rentals cheaper?

Yes. The more days you rent, the lower the per-day rate. Message us for an exact quote.

Can tourists rent from Arkework?

Yes, tourists and visitors to Singapore are welcome. Message us on WhatsApp with your dates. A refundable PayNow/Wise deposit or a card-on-file authorisation is needed, and we accept many international payment methods.

Can you deliver the gear to me?

Accepted Answer

Yes, outbound delivery via Lalamove or GrabExpress is available on request. To keep your gear safe, every courier is booked and dispatched by our team, and delivery includes the courier fare plus a small administrative handling fee. Delivery depends on courier availability and a quick verification. Studio collection is required for first-time renters, overseas visitors and high-value packages. We will confirm eligibility and the exact cost with you on WhatsApp.

Can you help download my footage?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We can upload your footage to our dedicated server for you to download within 1–5 business days, kept for up to 2 weeks. Under 256GB is $12, 256GB–1TB is $20, 1–2TB is $38, and extra storage is $10 per 2 weeks.

What happens when I return the gear?

Accepted Answer

We may do a short check with you, then you're free to go. A full inspection and testing follows at our studio. Please return gear clean — equipment returned with mud, sweat or heavy dirt may incur a cleaning fee.

Question 12

When will I get my deposit back?

Accepted Answer

If there are no issues after inspection, your refundable PayNow/Wise deposit is refunded within 1–3 business days, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
