Flying to Singapore for a concert? A phone and camera rental guide for overseas fans
Visiting Singapore for a concert from Indonesia, the Philippines, Australia, the US, Canada or beyond? How to rent a zoom phone, verify as a tourist and pay in your own currency.
Who this guide is for
Many of our concert renters fly in from Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, Australia, the United States and Canada, and we welcome fans from anywhere. If you have a ticket to a show at the National Stadium, Singapore Indoor Stadium or another venue, this guide covers what to rent, how verification works and how to pay.
What to rent for a Singapore concert
Many stadium concerts do not allow cameras with detachable lenses, but phones are usually fine. Recording rules differ for every event, so always check your own show's rules before you fly. - Far seats: the Vivo X300 Ultra gives the closest stage shots. Add the clip-on telephoto lens kit only if your event allows it. - All-rounder: the Samsung Galaxy Ultra series zooms far beyond a normal phone and is easy to use. - Smooth video around the city: the DJI Osmo Pocket is tiny and great for travel vlogs between shows. - Power: add a power bank so your phone lasts through queues, the show and the ride back.
How tourist rental works
1. Add your gear to the request list, pick your dates and tap to send it on WhatsApp. 2. For verification we ask for your passport plus your hotel and flight itineraries. A refundable deposit applies. 3. Collect on the calendar day before your concert or on the day itself, during the collection window we confirm with you. 4. Return the day after, during the return window. Transfer your photos and videos to your own phone before returning. Need help choosing? We guide you on WhatsApp before and during your rental.
Paying from overseas
No Singapore bank account or cash is needed. Payment links via HitPay accept cards in 100+ currencies, including IDR, PHP, MYR, AUD, USD and CAD, plus wallets like QRIS (Indonesia), QRPH (Philippines), DuitNow and Touch 'n Go (Malaysia). You can also pay by Wise. All rates are GST-free.
Our promotions apply to you too
Promotions are not just for locals. Our travel eSIM promo gives you mobile data while you are in Singapore on qualifying rentals, handy for maps, WhatsApp and sharing clips after the show. Check the promotions page for current offers and conditions, and enter the code in your request list.
Tips for a smooth concert trip
- Book early: popular phones go fast around big tour dates. - Test the phone at collection and practise zooming before the show. - Keep clips short and back them up the same night. - Respect the people around you and keep the screen low.
