National Stadium & Indoor Stadium concert camera guide (Singapore)

What you can bring into Singapore National Stadium and Singapore Indoor Stadium concerts, and the zoom phones Arkework rents for them.

Camera rules at Singapore's big concert venues

The National Stadium and the Singapore Indoor Stadium at the Sports Hub host most major K-pop and international tours in Singapore. Rules are set per show by the organiser, but most concerts do not allow professional cameras, detachable lenses, tripods or selfie sticks for regular ticket holders. Smartphones are almost always allowed. Always check the event page before you go, because rules can change from show to show.

What to expect at bag checks

Security checks every bag at the entrance. Large cameras and lenses may be turned away or sent to a bag deposit, which can mean a long queue after the show. A zoom phone in your pocket is the easiest way through. Keep power banks small and bring only what you need.

Best zoom phones for stadium seats

From the floor to the upper tiers, distance is the problem. We rent the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra and S26 Ultra, the Vivo X300 Ultra and X500 Pro Max, and the Oppo X9 Ultra. All have strong optical zoom and stabilisation for steady fancams and sharp close-ups under stage lights. For the longest reach, the Vivo G2 Ultra 400mm lens kit adds a telephoto attachment, but check your show's rules first, as add-on lenses are not allowed everywhere.

Shooting tips for concerts

Tap to lock focus on the stage and lower the exposure slightly so bright lights do not blow out. Use the optical zoom steps instead of heavy digital zoom. Clear storage space and charge fully before the show.

How to rent for your concert
